South Carolina April 10, 1778 3s9d PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.Very nicely margined and a note that is seldom available at this grade level. Ordinary XF and AU pieces abound but there are few in Choice Uncirculated. In July of 2011, we sold another PMG 64 for $862. PMG has commented "Stains, Trimmed". We have seen them ignore far worse stains than the minor discoloration on the blank back of this note. "Trimmed" is simply bananas, the margins are huge all the way around including the top selvage, if the note was not trimmed, it would still be part of a four subject sheet.
