Description

Continental Currency July 22, 1776 $30 PMG Uncirculated 61 EPQ.
Our previous description of this note still works perfectly, "The $1 denomination was eliminated with this issue, likely due to the expected release of the $1 Continental dollar coin. The $30 denomination was substituted for the $1 in the printing. This lightly handled note from one of the scarcer Continental issues retains good color and the signatures remain dark. A wreath on a tomb is pictured in the emblem with the motto SI RECTE FACIES (if you act righteously you will be honored after death)."
