Boston, MA - $2 1875 Fr. 392 The National Revere Bank Ch. # 1295The founders of this bank capitalized on the popularity of Paul Revere's name when choosing the title for their National Bank in 1865. Tonight this Lazy Deuce bearing Revere's name returns to Boston to be featured with a number of other Massachusetts rarities. Collectors will chase this note for its eye appeal, despite a missing corner at upper left. It remains a pleasing mid-grade item, with its bold red overprint, deeply printed devices, and still strong signatures. PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
