    Excessively Rare Home Bank of Canada $100- The Charlton Plate Note

    Toronto, ON- The Home Bank of Canada $100 March 1, 1917 Ch. # 365-10-26
    This $100 note is one of the great rarities of the Flynn Canadian holdings. Examples of this bank's $100 issue are unknown from the emissions of 1904 and 1914, and are excessively rare from the 1917 issue. This piece, in fact, is the Charlton plate example. There are a few pinholes, typical for high denomination pieces, but this evenly circulated Fine-Very Fine specimen may be the only one of its kind available to this generation of collectors.
