    Description

Excessively Rare $1 Payable at Halifax- PMG Very Fine 20

    DC-2d $1 1870
This payable at Halifax note is one of the great rarities of the Flynn Canadian holdings. This specimen is an evenly circulated note with bright colors on both face and back, giving it unusual eye appeal for a circulated note. This note is unpriced above Very Fine in the Charlton catalogue, giving collectors a very good idea of its true rarity. PMG has only graded one other payable at Halifax $1 in its three plus years in existence, with that piece grading Very Good 10. PMG Very Fine 20, rare and high grade enough to see a likely five figure realization.
