    Danzig 500 Gulden from 1924

    Danzig Bank of Danzig 500 Gulden 10.2.1924 Pick 56 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
    From 1924 until 1938, the Bank of Danzig issued banknotes at this Polish port city state. The coinage and currency of this small hamlet are extremely popular today. Pack fresh Uncirculated paper is easily seen through the third party holder. As the second highest denomination of the series, few were saved for posterity. At the time of cataloging, only 16 examples are graded in the PMG Population Report, with none grading finer than this rare, desirable, and pretty offering.
