    Description

Bermuda Bermuda Government 10 Shillings 30.9.1927 Pick 4 PMG About Uncirculated 50.
A simply terrific example of this iconic Waterlow & Sons note, this offering is especially desirable for two reasons. First, this note is the second finest graded Pick 4 in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. The bright color schemes and wide margins are easily seen. Second, this note features an unusually high serial number and the final prefix for this type. Only 200,000 notes were printed, with ascending prefixes, and this note is 190,998. Repairs are mentioned on this otherwise exemplary piece. A harbor view of St. George is seen at front, which was the original capital of Bermuda.
