Exciting "Type Two" 10 Dollar Specimen

Australia Commonwealth of Australia, Reserve Bank 10 Dollars ND (1972) Pick 40s2 McDS 14
Another example of perhaps the scarcest Specimens known to Australian numismatists, this $10 features the Phillips-Wheeler signature combination and the "Type Two" overprint variety for the 1966 and 1967 Specimens. On each side, diagonally, the word SPECIMEN is printed and well embossed. One of a reported two known, this piece is sure to excite many a bidder, despite having been previously mounted. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 Net.
