Australia Commonwealth Bank of Australia 10 Pounds ND (1949) Pick 28c R60 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
Rare in Uncirculated grades, this beauty holds the finest grade of only two examples registered above About Uncirculated in the PMG Population Report. This large format note featuring the portrait of King George VI is the highest denomination from the series. The signature variety of Coombs and Watt, which appears on this note, is the third of four combinations possible for this series, which circulated from 1939 until the mid-1950s. The significant spending power of this denomination prevented the vast majority from being saved, especially in this elite grade.
