Singapore Board of Commissioners of Currency 10,000 Dollars ND (1973) Pick 8A PMG Extremely Fine 40.
An excellent opportunity to acquire a high denomination Singaporean note, with fewer than 100 examples graded in the PMG Population Report. This note rarely surfaces on the auction block, and it is a privilege for us to offer this variety for the first time. The Monetary Authority of Singapore stopped producing this denomination in 2014 however, they are still accepted as legal tender. A lovely portrayal of the Aranda Majulah orchid is showcased on the front of this 10,000 Dollar note, while a vignette of the Istana (presidential office) is prominently displayed on the back. Malay, Mandarin and Tamil text surround the watermark. Truly a standout piece that is absent from most collections.
