Serial Number 1 Curacao Curacaosche Bank 250 Gulden 1925 Pick 13 PMG Choice About Unc 58.
Only 1,000 banknotes of this high denomination were printed and issued featuring the 1925 date. Offered in today's sale is another key note from the series featuring the lowest possible serial number. Just a hint of handling is present on this example, which is the first and only graded example in the PMG Population Report. It is worth mentioning that this note is not cancelled and does not have a "WAARDELOOS" overprint. Bank records indicate that a mere two pieces of this date have not been redeemed. Quite possibly the only uncancelled one extant, and worthy of the most serious consideration.
