    Netherlands Indies De Javasche Bank 20 Gulden 6.1.1921 Pick 66s1 Dated Specimen
    Printed by the American Bank Note Company, this Specimen is printed in orange inks and has a red "SPECIMEN" overprint on both sides. There are two varieties of specimens for these notes, with and without dates, with the dated pieces such as this the rarer by far and valued three and a half times higher than the non-dated specimens. This example is Choice Uncirculated 64 as graded by PMG. The bank's building in Batavia is represented in the central vignette. Polyglots might be interested to learn that the back contains legal text in four languages- Dutch, Javanese, Chinese, and Arabic.
