Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 10 Dollars 1.7.1941 (ND (1945) Pick 13 KNB13 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
A beautiful Waterlow & Sons engraved banknote, seldom seen in pack fresh, original condition. Although this note is dated 1941, the Japanese invasion of the Malay Peninsula prevented the issuance of new banknotes until 1945. The tropical climate of the colony caused banknotes to wear out very quickly, which accounts for the scant few examples of this denomination seen in collectible grade.
