A rare issue holding the highest grade in the PMG Population Report. This banknote represents the largest denomination of the coveted 1919-1924 series, first issued in 1919 and withdrawn in 1948. Featuring Chinese and Portuguese text on both sides, this piece was printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company. Examples rarely appear at auction. Our last offering was in 2017, when a lower graded example fetched $13,742.
