An impeccable grade is what makes this always popular type stand out. These notes were payable at the Bombay office of issue and have a "Z" prefix. They were legal tender in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Muscat and Oman. These notes were no longer legal tender in any of the above mentioned countries after May 8, 1970. These Persian Gulf notes issued by India, appeals to a wide spectrum of currency collectors. It is unusual to find an example which has achieved a high grade as this one, and is thus rare. Staple holes at issue.
