German South West Africa Swakopmunder Buchhandlung 1 Mark ND (1916-18) Pick 14An emergency note issued on fabric to satiate the demand of small coins, which was difficult to transport from Europe during the interwar era. These notes were expected to change hands heavily like coins, but this example survived heavy use, and even retains a PPQ designation. PCGS Very Fine 35PPQ.
