    Finest Graded 100 Yuan from 1949

    China People's Bank of China 100 Yuan 1949 Pick 835a S/M#C282 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
    Incredible, original paper is seen on this initial denomination of the Georgian Calendar Date series. Although this is the first denomination of the series, it is arguably the second rarest. At the time of cataloging, this note is tied atop the PMG Population Report, with none finer. Impressive technical details are easily seen through the third party holder. While there are multiple designs for the other denominations of the series, the 100 Yuan only has this design, with Chinese sailing ships at front. We have not offered this type in many years, regardless of grade. No example grading PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ has sold previously or been offered publicly. This represents one of the key notes offered in this superb auction chock full of rarities from the 1949 to 1953 series.

    1949年中國人民銀行壹佰圓（第一版人民幣）。PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ。
     大帆船圖。品相原裝原樣，狀態之優秀叫人拍案叫絕。為此系列人民幣當中較低面值。雖然低面值，卻可謂系列中第二罕有的一款。截至編撰圖錄之日，此鈔評分在PMG數量報告中穩坐首位，同儕無可比擬。狀態、設計均無可挑剔，實至名歸。系列中其他面值均有數款不同設計，唯此設計是壹佰圓鈔票的最後一款，正面印有傳統帆船。敝司已經多年未經手拍賣此款式，且不論評分高低。從未有獲66 EPQ卓越評分的例子出現拍賣場或市場之上。此一枚為1949至1953年人民幣系列中最觸目的一品。
