China Deutsch-Asiatische Bank, Peking 100 Dollars 1.7.1914 Pick S277r S/M#T101-24 Remainder PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
A beautiful and exotic banknote, extremely rare and desired by collectors worldwide. The German-Asian Bank issued notes in China and its colony in Kiau Chau from 1907 until the end of World War I. Two series of notes, denominated in Dollars and Taels, were issued featuring either the 1907 or 1914 date. Notes from this issuer shared a common design across all branch cities: Shanghai, Peking, Tsingtau, Hankow, and Tientsin. This impressive offering is a Remainder, delivered to the Peking branch. It has not been signed, but all other details are fully printed. At the time of cataloging, PMG has graded only 13 of these Peking Remainders. This denomination is only known in Remainder and possibly Specimen form currently, which makes this as good an opportunity as ever to acquire this famous type.

此鈔華美悅目，設計獨樹一幟，更稀罕少見有如鳳毛麟角，深得世界各地收藏家青睞。德華銀行在中國及膠州殖民地自1907年起發鈔，直至一戰結束為止。所曾發行的兩套鈔票分別以「圓」及「兩」作單位，年份分別為1907或1914年。此銀行之分行地點包括上海、北京、青島、漢口及天津，並都採用相同的鈔票設計。這張令人眼前一亮的庫存票被送至北京分行，但並未簽署，而其他細節則已完整印刷。截至編目時，PMG記錄中的北京地名庫存票僅見十三張，而壹佰圓面額亦只見於庫存票或樣票，可見是次入手這款著名鈔票的機會實在千載難逢。
