Rarely Seen Red Overprinted 100 Rupees of 1937

Burma Reserve Bank of India 100 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 3a Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 5.3.1B PMG Very Fine 25 Net.
The red overprinted series of notes were issued in 1937 while a completely new series of notes was being prepared in India. Only a portion of notes featuring prefixes T/41 and T/47 were overprinted in this manner. Restorations, stains, and ink are mentioned for accuracy. Nevertheless a rare and desirable Commonwealth issue from Burma.
