    Description

World War Bonus Bond, Issued to the Estate of Alfred G. Vanderbilt. Frederick W. Vanderbilt is one of the Executors of the will. It is very interesting to have a bond financing the state World War I bonus made out to the estate of one of the most famous members of the Vanderbilt family. Biographical background related to both Alfred G. and Frederick W. Vanderbilt accompanies this 1924-issued bond. Orange-black in color and rather well preserved. A portrait of Frederick W. Vanderbilt is included with this piece.
