Fr. 2304* $20 1934 Hawaii Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Apparent About New 53.An extremely rare star note which is one of only three examples graded to date by PCGS, and by far the nicest. We've sold only two during the past fifteen years, both of which graded no better than Very Fine, and this note was missing from even the great Taylor Family assemblage we auctioned a decade ago. Any estimate is simply a guess on this example, whose only defect is a restoration of a small edge tear, but we would be not at all be surprised to see our number speedily surpassed once the bidding begins.
