Uncirculated 63 EPQ.While circulated $10 Hawaii stars are hardly rare, Uncirculated examples are almost impossible to obtain. To date, PMG has graded only three such notes, this single 63 EPQ and just two finer. This offering is crackling fresh and well embossed with blazing ink colors on both face and back. Only its slender left margin prevents consideration of a higher grade for this pretty World War II emergency note. In our 2018 FUN auction, a PMG 64 EPQ specimen fetched $15,000 and this well preserved replacement note should approach that level.
