Fr. 2301 $5 1934 Hawaii Mule Federal Reserve Note. Superb Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
A Hawaii Five of this quality only comes along once in a very long while. There are four gigantic margins with perfect centering and bright brown inks. The embossing is fully punched through as is the "HAWAII" overprint on the back. The paper surfaces are nothing short of spectacular and the eye appeal of such a note could not be any better. The greensheet bid-ask range for superb gem is $900-$1,000 but if you think that a note of this penultimate state of preservation is going to trade for a wholesale price range than you might want to rethink your buying strategy.
