Highest Third Party Graded $1 Hawaii with No Equals

Fr. 2300 $1 1935A Hawaii Silver Certificate. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Unc 69 PPQ.
A look at the PCGS Banknote statistics for this $1 Hawaii tells us that this superb piece is the highest graded example by them with no equals. Furthermore, we wanted to see how this P-C block note with serial 34577189 compares to the PMG Population Report. Their report tells us that the highest Fr. 2300 that they have graded is 68 EPQ. The example in this lot is a well centered note within wide, balanced margins. Also, the face to back registration is right on the money. The inks and paper are perfect, while embossing of the serial number on the back is present in the unprinted area. We also see strong embossing on the face as produced by the large "HAWAII" overprint on the back. This face embossing is all important when it comes to high-grade Hawaii notes. This example will surely please its next owner and it is hard to imagine a Fr. 2300 grading higher. Overall, this is a beautiful note that is certainly worthy of a premium bid.
