    First Ever Offering of D-A Block Mule

    Fr. 1505 $2 1928D Mule Legal Tender Note. PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20.
    The 1928D $2 Legal mules are relatively common and can be found with ease. However, that is not the case with this example, as the Schwartz-Lindquist reference does not list any mules for the D-A block. In defiance of such, this D-A block example has surfaced. We could only find a single other example of this extremely rare note, which was graded by PMG. This is the first time we have ever offered this variety.

    Estimate: $1,500 - up.
