    Description

    100 Consecutive Trial Notes

Fr. ? Trial Serial Number German Printing Pack of 100 Choice Crisp Uncirculated or Better.
We have now auctioned two different packs of these interesting trial notes. These 100 trial notes are a consecutively serial numbered pack printed on plain white bond paper and without any face and back design. They are banded with a BEP $100 "Ones" strap. Each piece is serial numbered with what certainly appears to be a normal United States paper money font. These trial notes were obtained in Europe and were allegedly printed as a test using one of the German designed presses which the BEP was evaluating for purchase some years ago. The last pack of these that we auctioned was in September 2011 and it realized $6900. (Total: 100 notes)
