    Description

    Elusive Chicago $500 Replacement Note

Fr. 2202-G* $500 1934A Mule Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Very Fine 35.
High denomination stars are always desirable. We have offered only two different examples of this star Friedberg number over the years. The last occasion was in January 2010. That piece was graded PMG VF 35 and it achieved a final price of $2,990. This different PCGS example should do as well, if not better.
