    Well Preserved Series 1974 $100 Specimen

    Fr. 2167-L $100 1974 Federal Reserve Note Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
    A $100 Specimen from our auction of the Taylor Family Collection that occurred in February, 2005. It has been well preserved throughout its life, before and after that earlier auction. It has four wide margins and carries the up ladder serial number of 23456789. It also has "Specimen" printed vertically twice on the face and twice on the back. These printings of "Specimen" have produced embossing on both sides. Other desirable traits that are viewed are white paper and dark inks. We have offered just a few Specimen $100 FRNs over the years.
