    Description

Finest graded 1928 $5 St. Louis Star

Fr. 1950-H* $5 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
A lovely example of this very rare early $5 FRN star that is easily the finest graded by PMG. That service records just four grading events for this series and district while Track & Price records just three serial numbers, attesting to the great rarity of this replacement note. The first example of this rare star to cross the public auction block since 2012, it is a pack fresh note that is only held back from a Gem grade by its centering.
