    Description

    1934C Dallas District Specimen Pair

Fr. 2213-K $1,000 1934C Federal Reserve Note Face and Back Specimens PCGS Gem New 66PPQ; Gem New 65PPQ.
An exciting Face and Back Specimen pair with both sides earning Gem PPQ grades. This offering should generate additional interest as Dallas did not have any $1,000 notes printed for the 1934C Series. The last Dallas $1,000 notes printed for circulation were for the 1934 Series. Treasurer of the United States W.A. Julian and Secretary of the Treasury John W. Snyder started their terms on July 25, 1946. The fourteenth edition of Hewitt-Donlon United States Small Size Paper Money states that no $1,000 notes have been delivered for circulation since July 21, 1945. (Total: 2 notes)
