Fr. 1912-K* $1 1981A Federal Reserve Star Note. PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ.In the Robert Azpiazu reference, Collectors Guide to $1 FRNs Series 1963 - 2003A, he lists this Dallas star as the second rarest $1 FRN at $1,300 in CU. A print run of just 640,000 guarantees this replacement will be a key small size note for many years to come. This boldly printed, well centered example resides at the top of the population report at PMG with only two other pieces, none of which have cross the auction block in over ten years.
