    Highest Graded Fr. 1850-D*

Fr. 1850-D* $5 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
The highest graded example by both PMG and PCGS with no equals. This star achieved a price of $4887.50 in our CSNS 2011 auction when it resided in a PCGS 58PPQ holder. The original paper surfaces were evident to both major grading services and also to us as we now scrutinize it. We also see four broad margins and spot on centering. A delightful star no matter what third party holder it is in.
