    Money Booklet/"Scratch Pad" Fr. 1613W $1 1935D Silver Certificates.
A money booklet that was constructed by a private firm by gluing notes into it. This firm's speciality was adding the recipient's name and address on the cover. The name of actress Eleanor S. Whitney (1917-83) graces the cover of this example. Ninety-eight consecutive $1 Silvers from the G-F block remain in this money booklet that once held 100 notes. Ms. Whitney must have spent the first two notes before thinking otherwise. The first 48 notes are of the Wide variety, the next 42 pieces are of the Narrow variety, and the final eight are of the Wide variety. That lineup produces a changeover pair and a reverse changeover pair within this booklet. The notes in the booklet grade Uncirculated and are attached along the left end to the booklet. This lot is counted as one item since there is one booklet.
