    Fr. 316 $20 1886 Silver PCGS 35

Fr. 316 $20 1886 Silver Certificate PCGS Very Fine 35.
A note that was last available at a 1983 auction and currently it is one of a paltry 28 reported by Track & Price. The Ornate Back Mannings have in total only 149 serials documented for the four Friedberg numbers. This example has just a few folds and the minor restorations are for small repaired edge tears. The seal is faded, but not mentioned. These are not seen until the note is "candled." Our last offering of this rare note was in April 2013 and that PMG 30 in a comment free third party holder realized $19,975.
