    Richmond, VA - Bank of the Commonwealth $100 July 1, 1861 VA-170 G10a, Jones & Littlefield BR15-46. PCGS Extremely Fine 40 Apparent.
This is a much scarcer denomination from the bank and boasts colorful American Bank Note Company color features. The Virginia seal is at lower right, though the registered line is crossed out in red ink. In bold vermillion are the arced Gothic title at top center, C 100 C protector along the bottom, and top counter surrounds. Noted with some "Rust Stains at Top Left," but crisp and bright.

Truth Seeker: The Life of Eric P. Newman (softcover)
A powerful and intimidating dealer of the 1960s, backed by important colleagues, was accused of selling fraudulent gold coins and ingots to unsuspecting numismatists. Who would go up against a man like that and, over the course of decades, prove the fraud? Who would expose a widely respected scholar as a thief, then doggedly pursue recovery of coins that the scholar had stolen from an embarrassed numismatic organization, all over the objections of influential collectors who had bought coins with clouded titles? Eric P. Newman would - and did. Reserve your copy today.
