    Description

Jeffersonville, VA- Tazewell County 25¢ July 8, 1862 J-L CT02-04 PMG Very Fine 20 Net.
Notes from this county are among the rarest in the state. The county had a single three denomination issue in 1862 and each of the denomination is believed to have only 2-4 surviving examples. While this note has a two fold splits (approximately 3/8" and 1/2") they mercifully have not been repaired and this note is about as nice as they come from this tough location.
