    Jeffersonville, VA- Tazewell County 10¢ July 8, 1862 J-L CT02-02 Good.
Notes from this county, which is located in southwestern Virginia are among the rarest notes of the Virginia county issues. Only three denominations were issued and each is listed as a rarity 7 note meaning that Jones and Littlefield believed that the surviving population was no more than 2-4 examples of each denomination. This marks the third example that we offered over the years. This note will not win any beauty contest; it is missing part of the upper left margin and has been severed and rejoined. Nonetheless, the question to ask is "When might you see another?" As Don Fisher says about obsolete paper money "Bad breath is better than no breath at all."
