    Unlisted Tennessee Confederate Cavalry Sutler issue

    1st Tennessee Cavalry, TN- Sutler, 1st Tennessee Cavalry 5¢ March, 1863 Remainder
    This regiment was organized in November 1862 and was active in the Vicksburg Campaign. It was captured in July 1863 and, after being exchanged, was attached to Waul's Texas Legion. It surrendered with the Army of Tennessee on April 26, 1865. This small format note has a red 5 counter and a vignette of a freight train hauling cotton bales. PCGS grades this note Apparent Very Fine 25 due to a small rust stain and some very minor edge splits. Unlisted in Keller.
