Westerly, RI- Niantic Bank $3 July 1,18__ as G6a Durand 2466 Proof PMG Uncirculated 60.The bank was incorporated in 1854 and became the National Niantic Bank in 1865. This note features an impressive vignette of a sailing vessel as well as one depicting two seated maidens inspecting a bolt of cloth. In addition, there is a vignette of a maiden seated and looking out to sea with a huge 3 and lighthouse in the background and a large red script THREE protector. The note is printed on India paper mounted on cardstock with the usual POCs in the signature lines. PMG notes tears (the largest is into the lower fore sail in the left vignette) as well as a couple of minor chips. Very Rare and likely to stay that way,
