    Tiverton, RI- Tiverton Bank $1 18__ as G2 as Durand 2234 Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
    The bank was organized in 1855 and suspended in 1857, the victim of a fragile capital makeup and the Panic of 1857. The $1 design features two farm boys accompanying a hay wagon back from the fields flanked by oval male and female portraits to the left and and a vignette of an industrial plant to the right. The note is printed on India paper with the usual small POCs in the signature lines. There were twenty examples of this denomination and variety in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale.
