    Description

    Scituate, RI- Citizens Union Bank $1 18__ G6 as Durand 2104 Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
    The bank was incorporated in 1833 and remained in business until 1865 when it became the Scituate National Bank. Liberty is seated with an eagle and shield at center while Commerce and Ceres hold counters aloft to the left and right. The note has a large gray ONE protector. The note is printed on India paper mounted on cardstock with the usual POCs in the signature lines. This denomination was not represented in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale.
