Extremely Rare Globe Bank "Four Seasons" $10

    Providence, RI- Globe Bank $10 Nov. 1, 1862 RI-1305 G52b, Durand 1368, W-RI-970-010-G220a PMG Very Good 10.
The vignettes from this series are amazing and this is intricately conceived. The $10 denomination presents a different use of the globe theme used on this title. The globe is surrounded by the four Seasons; Winter, Summer, Spring, and Fall. An overall red tint completes the effect. This note is the Haxby plate note (page 2231). To the best of our knowledge, there have been only two public auction appearances for this note design (both the same note) prior to this offering (a different note) in the last sixteen years. PMG notes annotations which are of no significance on a note of this rarity. Ex: Len Glazer Collection, previously this was likely ex Roger Durand Collection.
