    Providence, RI- Bank of America $5 18__ G14a Remainder
    A lovely green and black remainder from this Providence bank that was incorporated in May 1851 and became the Bank of America Loan and Trust Co. when it was liquidated in 1890 and absorbed into the Mutual Trust and Deposit Co. of Providence. Adnah Sackett's portrait is seen on both denominations. Sackett (1796-1860), a jewelry manufacturer, served as the first president of the bank from 1851 until his death in 1860.
