    Camp 4th Regiment R.I. Volunteers, RI- Henry Buckingham, Sutler $1 May 25, 1864 Durand 2753 Keller RI-PA-D PCGS Choice About New 58.
    The 4th served from 1861-64, participating in a number of battles and campaigns including Antietam, Fredericksburg, and the siege of Petersburg. This certificate was executed while the 4th was guarding prisoners at Point Lookout, MD. The maker of this note, Lyman Morris, survived the war, but died June 7, 1869 at the age of 58.
