    Bristol, RI- Commercial Bank $20 July 1, 1863 G60 Durand 105 PMG Very Fine 20.
    The Commercial Bank was in operation from 1809 until 1869 when it became insolvent. Printed by New England Bank Note Co., this note features an eagle flanked by two large XXs. This note was issued on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg which would ultimately be seen as one of the major turning points of the war.
