    Philadelphia, PA- Bank of the United States (2nd) $100 18__ G32 as Hoober 305-153 Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
    The second Bank of the United States, with ultimately 28 branches, operated from1817 to 1836 when its charter expired. It was then rechartered as a state bank by the state of Pennsylvania. This attractive $100 features a large bald eagle and shield at the shore as well as a number of DUB&S trademark medallion-like cameo heads. The note is printed on India paper without any POCs or other cancellations, with PMG noting evidence of previous mounting (faint mounting adhesive residue spots in the lower corners). This design is presently unknown in issued form with only a small number of proofs surviving.
