These are certificate of deposits with the $2 being known with only a date of Nov. 5, 1907 and therefore a territorial issue as statehood was proclaimed on November 16, 1907. This issue by charter number 4348 consists of the $1, $2, and $5 denominations. This capital city bank was the first national bank chartered in either the Oklahoma or Indian Territories. Each example has an embossed bank seal at left and each has a different cashier with Robt. Sohlberg signing the $2. Also, both pieces were once paper clipped together with two paper clips. (Total: 2 notes)
