    Lewisburg, OH- Waldo C. Moore/Peoples Banking Co. 1¢ Nov. 1917
    This interesting scrip was signed by numismatist Waldo C. Moore. He was very involved with the Peoples Banking Co, but is best known for his numismatic pursuits. He was the thirteenth president of the American Numismatic Association. When he died in 1953, he had written about 130 articles and poems for the Numismatist. One of Moore's collecting specialties was collecting checks made out for one cent and signed by celebrities. PCGS Very Choice New 64.
