Each denomination and variety of this issue carries hefty values in the thirty year old Shafer Depression Scrip reference. Just a couple of other issues in the entire nation are valued higher. This issue was payable by the state treasurer. The other issue for the stale of North Dakota was payable by the county treasurer.
