    Milford, NH- Souhegan Bank $1 Sep. 1, 1862 G-UNL
Notes issued by this bank, which was in existence for a decade before becoming the Souhegan National Bank of Milford, are quite rare. The four notes we are offering tonight are the first we have offered. The $1 has a portrait of a gentleman, a maiden floating, and a scene of a horse being worked on in a farrier's shop as well as a green 1-ONE-1 protector. Haxby lists the same design but with a different color protector. PCGS grades the note Very Fine 30 noting the two POCs in the signature lines
